Woods and Garcia met on the driving range at the Merion West practice course on Monday and shook hands. The Golf Channel took video of the handshake and the picture above is from that video. The U.S. Open starts on Thursday.

Woods and Garcia had been at it for weeks, resulting in a verbal spate at the Players Championship about course etiquette. It turned into a full-out verbal brawl last month as Garcia said he was going to serve Woods fried chicken when asked what he would serve at dinner if Woods was there.
Garcia later apologized for the remarks, saying they were “wrong, hurtful and inappropriate.”
